Terms and refunds
The terms, in plain words
Effective 17 October 2026. These terms are between you and Run Rabbit Run Productions LLC, a Florida company ("we"), and cover buying and playing Deepgate Diving Company ("the game") from playdeepgate.com.
What you are buying
A personal licence to download, install and play the game on computers you own or control, for as long as you like. That includes the Windows build, the separate VR build, and every update we release during Early Access and at full release. You do not buy the game's code, art, sound or trademarks, which stay ours or our licensors'.
Please do not share your download page or links, resell the game or put the installers anywhere others can download them.
Early Access
The game is in Early Access. It is playable and still being built: it has known rough edges, and parts of it will change. What is planned can change with what players find, and the roadmap on this site is not a promise of specific features or dates. We tell you what is in it and what is known to be rough on the home page before you buy.
Price and payment
The price is $14.99 in US dollars, with any sales tax or VAT included; at checkout it may be shown in your own currency. The checkout is run by Stripe, which sells the game to you as the merchant of record: Stripe processes the payment, collects and pays the tax, and answers questions about the charge, under its own terms shown at checkout. The game itself, this licence, the downloads and support for the game come from us.
Refunds
If the game is not for you, write to [email protected] within 14 days of buying it and we will refund you in full, no questions asked. After that, write to us anyway if the game does not run on your computer and we will do what is fair. A refunded order's download page stops working. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within 5 to 10 days. Stripe may also refund a purchase to settle a payment dispute, and the cooling-off rights of the country you live in apply on top of this.
Steam
We plan to release the game on Steam. When it is there, we intend to offer people who bought it here a Steam key at no cost. That is our plan, not a guarantee.
How it was made
Concept art, the crew portraits and the 3D assets were generated from scripts and prompts by AI tools directed by one person; every rule, number and line of copy is human-written and human-tested. The sound is not AI-generated. CREDITS.txt in the download lists every source and licence.
No warranty
The game is provided "as is". We work hard to make it run well, but we cannot promise it will be free of errors or run on every computer. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for the game. Nothing here takes away rights you have under the consumer laws where you live.
The rest
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. If we change them, the new version will be posted here with a new date, and it will not take away anything you already bought. Questions: [email protected].
